Torrance, CA (May 21, 2012): On Saturday, May 19, the Bishop Montgomery Band marched in Torrance's Armed Forces Day Parade under sunny skies. Under the direction of Band Director Eric Hankey, the color guard, marching band, jazz band, drumline, and some members of the spirit squad performed to a patriotic crowd.
"It was truly an amazing performance by the BMHS Marching Band during the Armed Forces Parade today," said BMHS parent Patty Glymph, mother of BMHS baton twirler Caroline Glymph '14. "The band was excellently prepared and sounded wonderful; the color guard was the best of the three high schools I saw. Everyone took notice of Bishop Montgomery today!"
