Bishop Montgomery alumna and U.S. and World 100m track champion Carmelita Jeter '98 was named LA Sportswoman of the Year by the Los Angeles Sports Council on January 19, 2012.
Jeter will be presented with the award at the Los Angeles Sports Awards at the Nokia Center on March 15, 2012.
