Volunteers Needed
The Development Office is looking for volunteers for the Black & Gold Gala, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Torrance Marriott. Two shifts are available: 1) 12 noon – 5:00pm. Volunteers will be setting up for the Gala. 2) 5:00pm – 12 midnight. Volunteers will work at the event—monitoring silent auction tables, assisting with the live auction, overseeing the Balloon Burst, and cleaning up once the event concludes. All volunteers must work an entire shift, no exceptions. No shortened shifts or split shifts are available. Most shifts require volunteers to stand for long periods of time, and require volunteers to be involved with Gala activity and guests at all times. It is a very busy evening. If interested, contact Amy Traxler at [email protected]. Due to a limited number of shifts available, positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis. PSI credit will be given.
