Alumni Athletes Return for Open House

This year's Bishop Montgomery Open House was truly a special event, as four BMHS alumni who are professional athletes returned to speak to the 8th graders at the pep rally held on December 9.

World 100m champion Carmelita Jeter '98, Los Angeles Sparks star Noelle Quinn '03, Colorado Rockies minor leaguer Mike Zuanich '04, and Arena League Football player Josh Jones '05 (Utah Blaze) returned to campus to visit with the prospective students.

As the prospective students entered the BMHS gymnasium, each of them were given an 8 1/2 X 11 glossy collage of the four athletes. The students were then shown a video of all four athletes in action prior to hearing from each of the former BMHS student-athletes. Following the pep rally, the 8th graders lined up to get autographs and pictures.

We thank all of the 8th graders who visited campus and we thank our four wonderful alumni for taking time to come out and visit with the students.
