Once again this year, Bishop Montgomery partnered with the Del Amo Barnes & Noble for a book fair to support a local elementary school. On Wednesday, December 7th students from many groups on campus volunteered their time wrapping gifts for customers, reading books to children and playing music throughout the day. Thanks to all who participated, BMHS raised over $500 for Holy Innocents Elementary School in Long Beach to help them purchase books for their students and school.
A special thank you to all the students, moderators, clubs and organizations who volunteered that day, including Campus Ministry, Key Club, Concordia, Friendship Circle, and Band. Thank you, also, to the BMHS Habitat Club, who have volunteered to help with some important maintenance projects at Holy Innocents School in the Spring semester.
