The CSU/UC deadline is Wednesday, November 30th. Please DO NOT WAIT until tomorrow to submit your application. You run the risk that the system may not accept it!
Remember, the CA Student ID # does not apply to private or charter schools. Also, remember to check your email frequently. These schools may contact you if they need a transcript or your application is incomplete in any way.
Common Application deadlines vary. It is important that you pay attention to all due dates and be sure to notify both teachers and counselors of the dates. A reminder that teachers and counselors cannot send any information to your common app schools until you start the application process and it is active in your list.
Also, remember to check in with your teachers to make sure that they are doing their part by uploading and submitting both the teacher evaluation as well as their letter of recommendation, as these go together. We highly recommend that you complete your applications before the end of the of the semester to avoid any stress over the Christmas break. It will be very difficult to contact teachers and counselors during the break.
If you are applying to out of state public institutions or private schools that do not use the common application, please make sure that you are aware of those deadlines and get the necessary paperwork in to each school. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of this gets done! Again, check you email frequently, including your spam box. Complete and submit applications before due dates and pay attention to all emails!
Also, please keep your counselor informed of what you have submitted and completed as well as acceptances, denies, etc. all in "Family Connection."
