We'd like to introduce and welcome two new faculty members to our school community this semester:
Dr. Michael James is our new band director. Dr. James recently completed his Doctor of Musical Arts in wind conducting at UCLA, where he was also a teaching assistant/assistant director for the symphonic band, wind ensemble, and Bruin marching band. He has also taught high school music in Seattle for 16 years.
Mr. Joshua Lester is the International Academy English Language Learning teacher. Mr. Lester earned his Bachelor's degree at CSULB in linguistics and his Master's degree in TESOL from Middlebury College. He previously taught English in South Korea and focused on debate, grammar, and writing.
