Vince Toyama, father of two BMHS graduates, Scott '05 and Brett '08, recently received a daytime Emmy Award for his work designing backgrounds for the animated series "Transformers: Prime."
Toyama received the award for outstanding individual achievement in animation at the 38th annual awards ceremony hosted by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Toyama has most recently served as the surf coach at BMHS.
