Torrance, CA (August 22, 2024): After an extensive search, Bishop Montgomery is thrilled to announce the hiring of alumnus Aaron Monteilh ’12 as its new Director of Marketing & Outreach.
Aaron brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in many different fields. Prior to accepting the position, Aaron worked as a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District since 2016. Aaron also brings with him experience as a comedy and music show producer and social media professional. “We are excited to have Aaron as part of our Advancement Team here at Bishop,” says Andy Marafino, Director of Advancement. “Even while he was a student at BMHS, Aaron was always a charismatic and dynamic person who brought great energy and enthusiasm to all that he did.”
While at Bishop Montgomery, Aaron was a 2-year varsity member of the football team and participated in clubs such as the Friendship Circle, a club that spent part of their time reading books to children at local bookstores. Following graduation, Aaron earned his degree in English from California State University, Long Beach. Aaron comes from a long line of Bishop Montgomery graduates. His mother, Yvette, is a 1980 graduate and both of his siblings, Desiree ’09 and Austin ’14, are graduates as well. Other members of his extended family are also BMHS graduates.
“I am excited to come back to work for the Bishop Montgomery community and give back to the school that has given so much to me,” says Monteilh.
