Lorena Schubert (above left) joins the Academic & College Counseling Office at Bishop Montgomery. She will counsel 10th-12th graders with last names Fi-Ng. Prior to Bishop Montgomery, Ms. Schubert served as the Director of Guidance at Bishop Conaty Our Lady of Loretto High School in Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in Telecommunications and Film from California State University, Los Angeles. In 2019, she received her Master’s in School Counseling and a PPS Credential from Loyola Marymount University. Outside of Bishop Montgomery, she enjoys reading books and considers herself a huge Harry Potter nerd. She also loves to watch British time period dramas and spending time with her husband and their chocolate lab, Rambo.
Koral Costa (above right) is our new Assistant Athletic Director. Costa grew up locally, attending San Pedro High School. After high school, she matriculated to the University Oregon on a softball scholarship. She had a distinguished career at Oregon, where she was named an All-American and played in two Women’s College World Series. She also played professionally for two years and was a member of the Mexican National Softball Team for five years. Costa received her Master’s Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration and has coached college softball at Concordia University and Marymount California University. In addition to her role as Assistant Athletic Director, Costa will also serve as an assistant coach for our softball team at BMHS.
