On June 26, the Class of 1980 had a great reunion celebration at the Long Beach Marriott. Approximately 100 people were in attendance. The celebration kicked off on Saturday at the 4:00 Mass at Our Lady of Refuge celebrated by classmate Fr. Peter Mallin '80. When the class arrived at the Marriott, the entry of the Sports Bar displayed two large banners which were donated by Jerry Stevens '80. One banner displayed the class of 1980 picture on the football bleachers and the other had yearbook pictures of the class members.

"A DJ, dancing and chatting with classmates was like we were back in high school," says Theresa Trevino-Hardesty '80, who headed the reunion planning. "We celebrated and honored our veterans, law enforcement and nurses with the National Anthem playing. It was so great to see our classmates. The quote of the night was, 'I think our class is super special'. We just seemed to carry on as if we were back in high school. A fun night had by all!"
