Bishop Montgomery alumnae Trisha Bernardo-Perez '03 (above left) and Kristina Bingham-Jones '03 (above right) are accomplished authors' of children's books and have recently published new titles.
 
 
Wonder Dog

Bernardo-Perez, an author who currently resides in Florida, created the children's book series The Adventures of Josie & Bud to help "teach children to harness the power of grit and a growth mindset." The second title in the series, Wonder Dog, is set to be released on September 29, 2020. Wonder Dog "empowers young readers to grow through fear and hard work to achieve big accomplishments by using animals in real-life settings." Billed as an "entrepreneur-minded picture book," Bernardo-Perez strives to make personal development and emotional intelligence an integral part of children's literature.
