Pepe '21 Ties School Record

Torrance, CA (February 25, 2020): In the girls' basketball team's CIF-SS playoff loss to West Torrance last week, junior Khylee Pepe '21 scored 41 points, tying the single game scoring record set in 1974 when BMHS Athletic Hall of Famer Lorna Kollmeyer '76 scored 41 against Torrance.
 
It was initially reported that Pepe scored 38 points, but after review of the film, it was confirmed that she scored 41 points. On the season, Pepe led the Lady Knights in scoring average at 16.4 ppg. Also in the game, Pepe surpassed 1,000 career points in her high school career.
