In recent weeks, BMHS student and alumni were recognized for their accomplishments in scouting.
Ravan Robertson '21 was chosen to be a member of the Girl Scouts 2020 Tournament Troop. The Tournament Troop is comprised of Gold Award Ambassador Girl Scouts and march in the Tournament of Roses Parade. Ravan earned her Gold Award during her sophomore year with Troop 1495. She worked on her Gold Award project by making over 300 activity books for pediatric patients at Torrance Memorial Hospital.

Christian Olsen '19 and Cian Ward's '18 Troop 713 was highlighted in the Easy Reader News for the number of scouts that reached the rank of Eagle Scout. Only about 3% of all scouts obtain the rank of Eagle Scout. However, Troop 713 has had 19 of their 40 scouts earn the rank of Eagle, including Christian and Cian.
