Bishop Montgomery is thrilled to have been named 2019 Best Private High School by the Daily Breeze newspaper. The honor comes as the result of a reader's choice poll which drew thousands of votes from South Bay residents.
This is the Daily Breeze's 28th Annual Readers Choice Awards season. In 2016, Bishop Montgomery was named a readers' "Favorite," but it is the first time in recent years it has been named the South Bay's "Best." Dione Dierks, Bishop Montgomery's Director of Outreach and Public Relations, believes the honor comes from an incredible community of supporters and families who believe in the mission of BMHS. "Bishop is a special place. It's more than just a high school; it's a family," she says. "In today's world, where our young people need support and guidance, need to know they are accepted, Bishop Montgomery provides a place for them to be themselves and to thrive. Our parents, our students, and our alumni see this and we are grateful to them for validating our efforts with their votes in this year's readers' poll."
