Please read Writing Packet on the BMHS google docs. It's four pages in length.

Finish reading the story,  "Echo & Narcissus" (pg. 7 in your text).

Answer the three RECALL questions in complete sentences.

Finish reading pgs. 144 & 145.

Answer the 3 Recall Questions on Pg. 146.

Listed as a reference for you, the following items will be on your final exam:

It is recommended that you create flash cards for the vocabulary and drama terms.

     

Assignment started in class; students are to read pgs. 123 - 140 in the literature text and answer all the purple shaded questions.

 

Expect a quiz on Tuesday over this material.

Two Poems needed.

Find and copy one poem, by a famous author, that makes you laugh and another poem that inspires you.

 

You must cite the source and your submission should be formatted to look like high school level work.

 

You may turn it in on Friday, Feb. 13th.

It is due, for 10 homework points, on Tuesday, Feb. 17th.

 

TEST on Lab day this week.

 

Students should study Acts I & II in Romeo & Juliet.

 

They need to know the characters and be able to identify who said what quote from the play.

 

Students should now the drama vocabulary for this quiz.

BEFORE submitting to TurnItin.com, students should make sure their paragraph from TKAM has a strong Topic sentence, 3 -5 supporting statements and a concluding statement that refers back to the topic sentence.

 

Students need to make sure, in the interest, of clarity, their answers to the study packet for ACTS 1-5 name the characters and do not use pronouns instead of the character's name.

The 5 page  packet on Romeo & Juliet that was issued last Thursday (1/29) is to be completed by Thursday (2/5).

 

There are 10 questions on each page.

The first three pages should have been completed last week.

 

Read the questions first, then look for the answers in the text so you can compare the play to the movie.

Romeo & Juliet cloud notes will be checked to be sure students have included:

     Character list -  as they appear in the play

                               labeled as Capulet, Montague or neutral

                               updated  as to what we have read or viewed

    Summary of Act I scenes we have read or viewed.
