Computer Applications (Period 3) Assignments

Please look in your closet for new or very near new clothes and toys that just don't suit you and bring them to class by this Wednesday.

 

These items will be given to homeless teens -  and the Adopt a Family for Christmas program.

 

Thank you in advance for your generosity and Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Students are to type and format notes and study assignments for Religion, History and/or English classes.

 

By December students should have at least 15 pages of notes that will be formatted with headers and footers as directed by Mrs. Kline.

 

This assignment is designed to help students perfect their formatting skills, as well as, prepare for finals in other classes.

December 2nd OR before, students are to find a "timeless" article and submit for approval.

This "timeless" article can be a "how to" or inspiring story. It must be short enough that, AFTER APPROVAL, it will fit on one page, typed single spaced.

 

Source must be cited.

No school Monday!

 

Students should use this time to work on their 15 page study guide for Religion, History, English. They will be instructed how to format and insert a header and footer.

 

Due TUESDAY, 12/2

Students are also to bring in a "timeless" article for approval to use for the final project for this class.

Timeless = How to improve or prepare in some aspect of their life or an inspirational story. Must be shorter than one page.

Continue formatting notes and assignments for your other classes. This contributes towards your 15 page well formatted study guide which will be worth 30 points and due after Thanksgiving.

 

 This is for  classes such as Religion, English, History, Health - NOT MATH!!!

Prepare for your PowerPoint presentation.

   * Pictures of you and/or your family - one must be you as a baby

   * 5 historical facts/events that occurred on your birthday/any year; be sure to

      know the background info.

Please bring in individually wrapped candy to donate to the Covenant House and $1 for the Thanksgiving dinners out reach project.

TEST over Units A, B & C will be on Thursday, October 30th!

Please bring in can goods for Spirit Week.

Bring in new socks for the shelter for homeless teens in Hermosa.

Freshman girls, don't forget to write a thank you note to your "big sister."

Contact all who love you best in the world and as them to buy 5 of your raffle tickets. 5 tickets = $25.

Explain each of the Unit B & Unit C Objectives and answer the Concept Review Questions at the end of each chapter.

 

Objectives must be formatted as directed in Units A Office and Unit A Word.
