Here are the PP for the final. I have also included a few that we did not go over, most noteably the Early American Civilizations.

ESSAY IS DUE MONDAY, MAY 13TH

Here are the pictures for the Protestant Reformation Essay. Please remember that you are not allowed to copy the work of other students. These should, however, serve as a guide.

The essay outline pictures are from Period 3 on Wednesday and are similar to the ones we did in your class. Remember that this is only one idea of how the paper should look.

I have also included the PP, video link, and DBQ in case you need to refer to them at any point.

Update: A few students contacted me about the pictures being too blurry. I've uploaded a new outline labelled Outline 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 to give you another outline to use for your essay.

This is the Reformation PP for those that missed class Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

We will complete GO numbers 1-25 on Weds-Thurs, 26-34 on Friday.

The assignments for Easter Vacation are below and are due the day we return. These are optional assignments where you can earn extra credit if you put in more than average work. Type answer and use examples when applicable.

1. Complete only ONE of the DBQs (15 points optional part/up to 15 EC points)
-You must answer the document questions (type) and write a 5 paragraph essay (typed)
-don't complete both intentionally or "by accident", you will only get credit for one DBQ
2. Coat of Arms assignment (10 pts/up to 10 pts EC)
3. Read EITHER the description of London OR Aztec Human Sacrifice and draw/color a picture based on the primary source (5 pts/up to 5 pts). In a paragraph, explain what you are showing.

Complete the attached worksheets by typing your answers. Fully answer the your answer with examples from the text.

Wed-Fri Assignments (all will be due Monday)

Notes for Midterm: All PP were either posted this week or the previous weeks. Be sure to consult them and you GO. Some terms were only covered in notes from the Textbook.

This is the schedule for those who missed any days this week.

Monday- First half of Powerpoint on Feudal Europe, GO attached below. We also took notes on pgs. 351-355.
Tuesday- Second half of PP on Feudal Europe. Took notes on pgs. 368-372 for HW.
Wednesday- Completed DBQ on the Black Plague, attached below. The essay for this will be due Monday.
Thursday- PP on Crusades, GO attached below including making a recruitment poster for the Crusades. Must be 8" by 11" and you may use pictures from internet. HW: Essay for DBQ due Monday typed, normal formatting.
Friday- Registration Day (off).

1. Watch the video, answer the questions.

2. Using your answers, write an essay about how the Vikings enriched Western Civilization. Should be about 7-8 sentences minimum. Be sure to fully explain your answer with examples.

Because I have people missing for retreat, here are the assignments of the week. Remember that Thursday will be the day of Post-test for Japan during the Heian Period.

Tuesday: take notes on PP (attached), you will not be given a GO for this PP.

Wednesday: Watch three videos (attached) and take notes. The link below gets you to the first video, watch part 3,4, and 5 from the playlist.

Map of India Assignment (due Tuesday)

You will need to find a map on the internet that will help you fill out the map.

Attached below is the HW assignment for Mt. Vesuvius. It has both a reading and a video link. You may use either or both to answer the questions. The assignment must be typed and is due Tuesday.

Also, the seminar about facebook and social media worked really well! I have included an optional/extra credit assignment (10 pts/up to 10 pts).
-You may use any of the bullet points at the end of the reading to come-up with two paragraphs about the reading. Your response should reference the text, but is all opinion based. For example, maybe you want to talk about whether you think your generation is addicted to FB and what ramification this may have on relationships (both romantic or platonic). Or you may want to discuss how people's profile is a mask or is not a mask (and instead a more accurate description of them).
-You can go any direction with the assignment as long as it talks about social media.
-The assignment must be typed, have an original title, and conform to regular essay formatting.
