Chapter 9 Test. Bring your books to class.

Chapter 9 workbook due Wednesday June 1st. 20 POINTS! Activities: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 23, 24, 25, 27.

Chapter 9.2 activies due today Tuesday May 31.

Chapter 6 Project The Nespaper due today (electronically.) Save your project in the correct folder in the school server under your last names.

Your OWN rough draft of the newspaper with ALL five articles is due today with the electronic and final version of the project. ALL students must submit the handwritten paper to show proof of process done in class.

Marking Period ends on Friday February 18th. ABSOLUTELY NO LATE WORK will be accepted after Friday. I'll will submit the grades on Friday after school. Have a nice long weekend.

Make sure that all sections and headlines for your newspaper are complete and start working on the articles. All articles MUST be finsihed by Tuesday February 22

Extra Credit: Guess who the painters are. There are 30 paintings posted in this webpage under "Painters Test". Submit a list with the correct names of all painters and earn 3 extra credit ponits! Have fun!

Oral presentation: description of your painting. Written description and biography due as well. One paper per student (description could be on the same paper as biography)

Reminder: your painter's biography (30 points) and the painting's description (10 points) MUST BE HAND WRITTEN. One copy per student. Due this Friday.

On lab day you and your group will be painting in class. Bring a color copy of the painting you are reproducing. Remember, the painting must be suitable and appropriate for our class and your group must provide ALL materials and poster board (or canvas, if you choose) to make this painting in class. You may select a painter from this list:

Download or copy the Thanksgiving Prayer from my the webpage; say the prayer at dinner time, or at any other good time, to your family. Have one parent or guardian write a note on the same paper indicating that you have said the prayer to them. Get the 5 points on Tuesday when you bring the prayer with the note.

Quiz on EL Caribe is due for those students who went on Junior Retreat. You must write 10 questions from Geocultura, Historia and Arte and answer the questions in complete sentences. No true/false question. 20 points.
