John Scanlin '71 Memorial Scholarship
The John Scanlin '71 Memorial Scholarship is named in memory of 1971 graduate and former BMHS teacher and coach John Scanlin, who passed away in 2008 of ALS. John was an outstanding family man, classmate, teammate, teacher, coach, and friend who was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. The scholarship is awarded to current BMHS students who are interested in pursuing a career in teaching and/or coaching.
