Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year, and thank you for visiting Mr. Hernandez’s home page!

Mr. Hernandez is in his eighth year of teaching at Bishop Montgomery High School, where he also serves as the Assistant Director of Campus Ministry, and Director of Music Ministry. This year, Mr. Hernandez will be teaching Junior and Senior Theology, and Ethnic Studies, a Social Studies elective. In addition to his classroom responsibilities, he coordinates and leads the Junior retreat and co-moderates the Celeste Adams' Lettermen Club. CLICK HERE! for information about the club! Mr. Hernandez is also the Director of the Office of Dignity, Empathy, and Justice, where he works to foster a school culture rooted in respect, belonging, compassion, and the inherent dignity of every person.

A proud Bishop Montgomery alumnus, Mr. Hernandez graduated in 2012 and is honored to contribute to the community that helped shape his own faith and educational journey. Before returning to BMHS, he spent six years at Nativity Catholic School, where he served as the Director of Student Life and fulfilled various other roles.

Mr. Hernandez is excited for the journey ahead and looks forward to walking alongside students and families in faith, learning, and community throughout the year.
