Torrance, CA (November 3, 2014): The Bishop Montgomery community would like to ask you to pray for the family of Pomona SWAT Officer Shaun Diamond, who was killed in the line of duty on October 29. Officer Diamond is the uncle of BMHS alumna Kayla Diamond '11 and current 9th grader Jalen Marrero '18.
Officer Diamond was with the police force for 19 years and with SWAT for 8 years. He was 45 years old and leaves a wife and two children, ages 28 and 26.
The funeral services will take place on Thursday, November 6, at 10 AM at Ontario’s Citizens Business Bank Arena, 4000 Ontario Center Parkway. Grave side services will follow immediately at Forest Lawn — Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina.
