Torrance, CA (September 26, 2014): Former BMHS and Cal Standout Justin Cobbs '09 has signed a free agent contract with the Charlotte Hornets of the NBA.
Cobbs is the only player in BMHS boys' basketball history to be named All-CIF all four years. He was named the CIF Player of the Year as a junior in 2007-08 and the State Player of the Year as a senior in 2008-09. Additionally, Cobbs was named Daily Breeze Player of the Year and John Wooden High School Player of the Year as a senior.

Following BMHS, Cobbs played one year at Minnesota before transferring to Cal, where he was a 1st Team All-Pac-12 selection last year as a senior.
