Torrance, CA (January 9, 2014): Bishop Montgomery junior Samantha Nishimura '15 recently scored a perfect 2400 on the SAT she took in December. Needless to say, this is an incredibly rare accomplishment. According to an ABC News report, 1.6 million students took the SAT in 2012 and only 360 received a perfect score (.000275%).
In addition to being an outstanding student, Nishimura is actively involved in many aspects of school life. She is the co-editor-in-chief of the BMHS newspaper, Knightlife; she serves as a BMHS ambassador; and she was named 2nd team All-Del Rey League for the league champion girls' tennis team this fall.
