Torrance, CA (February 2, 2017): Last night, Boys' Basketball Head Coach Doug Mitchell notched his 650th career win when his squad beat Serra 85-59 on the road. With the win, the Knights also captured their 5th straight Del Rey League title, the 18th under Coach Mitchell.
Mitchell has a record of 639-171 since taking over the program in 1989-90. Prior to coming to Bishop, Mitchell was the head coach at his alma mater, South Torrance High School, where he had 11 wins.
