Students Collect Stuffed Animals for Cause

Torrance, CA (May 13, 2015): Always willing to find a way to serve the community, Bishop Montgomery's students were at it again recently with their Stuffed Animal Drive to support the Violence Intervention Program through USC.

In all, Concordia Club students and the general student body collected and/or donated 281 new stuffed animals for the program. These stuffed animals will go to child victims of abuse and those awaiting placement into foster care.

"This is an incredible amount or stuffed animals to collect and donate to this very worthy program," explained Concordia Club moderator and Spanish teacher Laura Fabbri. "We are thankful to Mrs. O'Donnell (current parent of Shane '15 and Kevin '18) for picking them up and delivering them to USC."
