It is with great sadness that we inform our community that Celeste Adams, BMHS academic counselor and 1994 graduate, passed away last night. Celeste was an unwavering supporter of BMHS. After college she returned to her alma mater, first as a teacher and coach and then as a counselor. She provided over 23 years of dedicated service. No one compares to her level of commitment and love for Bishop Montgomery High School. From her love of providing guidance to her students through the rigors of high school life, to her unwavering support for all of our athletic teams, not to mention the hundreds of lives she touched, her loss will be felt deeply by us all. She was 46 years old.
Please keep the Adams family in your prayers. As we begin the weekend, please take a moment to give thanks to Celeste for her incredible dedication and leadership she provided to BMHS and the love she had for all things Bishop Montgomery.
The family has established the Celeste Adams '94 Memorial Scholarship here at Bishop Montgomery. Details of the scholarship are forthcoming. More information here.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
