Mrs. Diaz-Perez has been a counselor since 2011 and has been working in the field of education since 2007. While working as a counselor her focus has been working with students in the areas of academics, social/emotional and career/post-secondary planning. Mrs. Diaz-Perez graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where she received a B.A. in both Peace and Conflict Studies and Spanish Language and Literature.
In addition, Mrs. Diaz-Perez received her Master of Arts in Counseling and PPS Credential in School Counseling from the University of San Diego. During her time at the University of San Diego she participated in Collaborative Action Research focused on Post-Secondary Planning. Mrs. Diaz-Perez is a member of the American School Counseling Association and strongly believes in continuing to grow in her profession as an educator and counselor.
Mrs. Diaz-Perez is a dedicated individual who seeks to support and guide students academically and personally in order for students to meet their goals and achieve success as they transition into the 9th grade, throughout their high school experience, and as they graduate from high school.
