Legal Pathway

The Legal Pathway is designed for students who have a passion for research, debate, public speaking and writing. In addition to their academic course, students may be required to actively participate in either the Speech & Debate Club or Mock Trial Club throughout their four years.
Courses (choose 4)
- AP Language & Composition
- AP Seminar (project must be approved and related to the Pathways topic)
- AP Research (project must be approved and related to the Pathways topic)
- Latin
- Speech & Debate
- Speech & Debate Club or Mock Trial Club (full year active participation as verified by moderator)
Pathways Requirements:
- Pathways will commence in the 2025-2026 academic year.
- Students must earn a grade of B- or better in each academic course.
- Students may participate in a maximum of two Pathways over their four years at Bishop Montgomery.
- Each academic course completed may be applied to only one Pathway.
- Projects in the AP Seminar/Research/Capstone courses must be approved and related to the Pathways topic.
- Students must submit for each desired Pathway an Intent to Participate in Pathways form by October 1st of their senior year.
