Fall Fundraiser Home

What is the Fall Fundraiser?
The annual Bishop Montgomery fundraiser begins on September 12 with the distribution of tickets to all students. The fall fundraiser is our school’s only required fundraiser. The school relies on the proceeds of this major fundraiser as part of the operating budget. With parental support, we expect 100% of the students to meet at least 100% of their quota.

The success of this fundraiser is linked to the enthusiastic participation of both parents and students. We encourage students to reach out to aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and other family members and friends to help them reach their quota.

Parents are encouraged to double the amount of their support by investigating matching fund programs through the Human Resources Department at their place of employment. (See page to the right)

On October 11, at the Homecoming Pep Rally, there will be a drawing for the winners of four (4) cash prizes. First prize is $5,000; Second prize is $2,500; Third prize is $1,500; Fourth prize is $1,000. Every ticket sold will be automatically eligible for these cash prizes. Winners need not be present.

Student & Family Quotas
Families with one or two students at BMHS are responsible for selling or buying 50 tickets ($250) per student.  Families with 3 or more students are required to sell 40 tickets ($200) per student. Each ticket is $5.

Tuition Add-On
Students who are not able to sell all of their tickets by the deadline of Tuesday, October 8 will have the option to have the remaining balance of their quota added to their tuition. Although this is an option, we encourage all students to make the effort to sell the tickets. Part of the purpose of the fall fundraiser is to have the students take the initiative to ask aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins, friends, and others in their families and communities to purchase tickets; the purpose is not just to have parents write a check for $250 in order to fulfill their quota.

Student Incentives
Students who complete 100% of their quota will be eligible for cash drawings on each of collection day. In addition, monetary prizes will be awarded to the three top selling homerooms and individuals, at the fundraiser’s conclusion on Tuesday, October 8.

50% Day: Students who complete at least 50% ($125) of their quota by Wednesday, September 25 will have noon dismissal on that day.

100% Day: Students who complete 100% ($250) of their quota by Tuesday, October 8 will have a free day (no school!) on Monday, October 14.

Money & Ticket Collection
Please note that ticket stubs and money must be turned in together. Ticket stubs will not be accepted after 12:00pm on Tuesday, October 8 in anticipation of the drawing on Friday, October 11.

Please make note that students will need to do the following for the collection days (collection days link at right):

  • Student name and homeroom # must be written on each check submitted on the memo line of check.
  • Ticket stubs will need to be filled in with buyers name and phone number (address labels are great for stubs as well).
  • Yellow slip on the back of each ticket book needs to be filled in with their name and homeroom #.
  • Ticket stubs should be separated from each other for drawing.

Thank you for your continued support of Bishop Montgomery and our students.
