Short Flags Team Info

Short Flags is a year-round commitment, and all members must be able to commit to the program for the entire school year. The squad performs throughout the year at boys and girls home games, as well as at assemblies and competitions.

The Short Flag Squad will consist of members selected by professional judges and coach during an audition process. Interested students must attend all sessions of the workshop, and the scheduled tryout. Auditions are generally held in the Spring semester.

Team Member Expectations & Responsibilities

Being a member of the BMHS Spirit Squad is a privileged leadership position. Team members are expected
to do the following:

- Set a good example of friendliness and sportsmanship to other teams
- Promote respect and teamwork within the squad
- Conduct self in a way that positively represents the Varsity Song Team and BMHS
- Give 100% at practices, games, and other events
- Be present, prepared, and on time for all practices, games, and performances
- Cooperate with those in a position of authority – administration, teachers, coach, and captains
