Seal, Alma Mater & Fight Song
Seal
At the top there is a hat which stands for the bishop and our obedience to his laws. Under this appear three letters – J, V, H. These Latin initials represent Justice, Truth, and Honor, our school motto. Behind these burns the lamp of knowledge; shedding light to dispel all shadows of ignorance. Beneath all this are the symbols of the faculty – the two crossed hands and the carpenter’s block with a lily. The two crossed hands are the symbol of the Franciscan fathers and the lily with the carpenter’s block beneath are the symbols of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondolet. To finish it off, there is the name of our school.

Alma Mater
All praise to thee, Montgomery, will rise in accent strong.
Our Lady, Queen of angels, most worthy of our song.
Justice, truth, and honor our motto ever be,
Loyal sons and daughters, we’ll sing of victory.
All praise the name Montgomery,
Strong prelate loved and true.
His mighty arm of courage inflamed pure faith anew.
Justice, truth, and honor our motto ever be,
Loyal sons and daughters, we’ll sing of victory.
Our thanks to thee, Montgomery,
Throughout our lives be told,
Our Cardinal of bounty God’s gift on us bestowed.
Justice, truth, and honor our motto ever be,
Loyal sons and daughters, we’ll sing of victory.

Fight Song
Stand and shout the mighty Knights are out,
The black and gold is here to stay.
Rah, rah, rah.
All raise a cry ‘til we make it reach the sky,
Montgomery ’s on its way.
Rah, rah, rah.
Get that ball and make it go, go, go.
We’ve never yet been beaten by our foe.
So, let’s do our best to never, never let it rest,
Don’t just give in and die.
Let’s show our might and fight, fight, fight,
For our Montgomery High.
