I was born and raised in the South Bay and am a graduate from Torrance High School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Managerial Finance from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Upon graduation, I moved back California and began my teaching career at Orville Wright Magnet School in Westchester. In 2008 I lost my job due to LAUSD budget cuts and God's plan gave me the a wonderful opportunity to teach at Bishop Montgomery. It is at Bishop where I have found teaching to be both a challenging and rewarding vocation. Being a teacher also gives me the wonderful opportunity to be a role model and have a positive impact on the lives of my students. My hope is that all students leave my class with a better understanding and appreciation of mathematics and its role in their lives.
