BMHS Receives Project A-Game Grant from 7-Eleven

Torrance, CA (November 12, 2014): June Richards, a local business owner and 7-Eleven franchisee who operates the Redondo Beach store on Prospect Avenue, presented a $500 Project A-Game grant to Bishop Montgomery at Friday night's football game.

Bishop Montgomery Development Office staff members Amy Traxler and Andy Marafino, along with ASB President Kira Iwai '15, accepted the donation on behalf of the school.

"Our stores are part of the neighborhood, and as such, we wanted to be good neighbors to the community we serve," Richards said. "This Project A-Game grant lets us play a part in local kids' success, and I can't think of a better way to give back."
