Following graduation from BMHS, Father Gary attended Loyola University in Chicago and then returned to BMHS to teach beginning in 1969. After a few years at BMHS, he left for Divinity School to receive his vows. He returned to BMHS for a second stint from 1975-1988. He taught a variety of subjects, including religion and Spanish. Father Gary also served as Vice Principal of Activities and athletic team chaplain.
