Welcome!!  I am Christina Mattes, your child’s Religion teacher.  I want you to know what a blessing your child is in my life and how grateful I am to be with him/her each day.

Let me begin with a very brief introduction of myself.  I am a fully credentialed teacher and have been teaching for over 20 years in both Catholic and public schools.  I have been a mentor teacher which means I assist, aid, and support new teachers who are just entering the Profession of Education. For several years I have been the Director of Religious Education. Presently, I am the Chairperson of the Religion Department.

This year I will be teaching four (4) periods of Junior Religion--Morality and Social Justice and one (1) period of Freshmen Religion--Introduction to Catholicism and Old Testament.  I hope you will go through my website to access information about these courses and other important and useful information.

In closing, I leave you with this very gentle reminder---to pray...... pray daily for your children......and to tell them OFTEN......... how very, very much you love them!!!!!
