Algebra II and Intro to Calculus
2009 – 2010

Class Rules & Info:
Office Hours – I am available to meet with students for extra help either individually or in small groups of two to four after school on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Students should arrange with me a day and time in advance. We will most likely meet in the Library.

After I return a graded assignment – homework, classwork, quiz, or test – students should keep it in a safe place until the end of the semester.

Students may take lecture notes in pen. However, all assignments that will be submitted (i.e., homework, quizzes, tests) MUST be completed in pencil. Assignments submitted in pen will NOT be accepted, and a score of “0” will be recorded in the gradebook.

Students are expected to be in their assigned seats with their materials out and ready to work when the bell rings. Students not following this directive will be marked “Tardy” and receive a Violation.

Before speaking, students should raise their hand and wait for me to acknowledge them.

The dress code, as outlined on pp. 25-26 in the Student Handbook, will be strictly enforced.

There is to be no name calling of ANY kind. Everyone deserves respect and courtesy. Our class will be a safe space for everyone.

Additional directives may be added as needed.
