Information for University of California Admissions
The University of California System admits students according to a system of comprehensive review. Comprehensive review includes, but is not limited to, an applicant’s academic grade point average in grades 10 and 11; test results from the SAT /ACT and SAT II; the strength of the high school curriculum pursued; the personal statement; and the depth and breadth of extracurricular involvement.
You may apply to as many campuses in the system as you wish. You will submit one electronic application to the University of California System indicating the campus or campuses for which you wish to be considered. The applications will then be forwarded to the appropriate campuses. 90 percent of University of California eligible students who apply to at least three campuses are accepted at a minimum. Working one-on-one with your counselor will help you determine if you are eligible and the most appropriate campuses to apply to.
